Slow Cooker Stuffed Apples
Makes 12 servings

Ingredients
- 6 large apples (gala preferred)

1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon allspice

2 Tablespoons coconut oil

1/4 cup pecans
-
1/4 cup old fashioned oats

1/2 cup apple juice
- honey drizzled on top to taste
Directions
- Wash apples. Use a pairing knife to core apples. Pair off a 1 inch strip of skin around the top of the apple to prevent the apples from splitting.
- Mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, coconut oil, and pecans together in a large bowl and then stuff each apple with the mixture.
- Place each apple in the crockpot and pour the apple juice in the bottom of the pot. Drizzle the tops of the apples with honey to taste.
- Turn crockpot on high heat and cook for 2 ½ -3 hours until apples are soft.
