Fruit & Nut Dark Chocolate Bark
Recipe makes 20 servings. Each serving= 135 kcals, 2.1g protein, 11.1g carbohydrate, 1.6g fiber, 10g fat (1.5g monounsaturated fat, 4.3g polyunsaturated fat).Note: this recipe was adapted from Food & Wine magazine.
Ingredients
- 9 oz dark chocolate
- 1 - 1 ½ cup walnut halves
- ½ cup dried cranberries
- 2 Tbsp crystallized ginger, chopped into small pieces
Directions
- Spread walnut halves on baking sheet in even layer and toast for 5 minutes at 350°. When cool, chop into small pieces.
- Place chocolate into microwave safe bowl and microwave in 30 second increments. Stir chocolate after each increment, until melted.
- Fold walnuts, cranberries, and ginger into chocolate and spread out on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- When completely cooled, cut or break bark into pieces.
